Playing with scraps

Today I have been playing with scraps. I have had this quilt block idea stuck in my head for awhile. Today I sat down and put a block together. 

I think I am going to take some black  and put a small border around the block. I also came up with a long rectangle, possible strip to use within the quilt. 

Like I said just playing with scraps.

This will be how the blocks will be put together. 

This quilt will be 72" x 72" when finished.
