Back to blogging after hiatus

I know it's been a while since my last post. I had some medical issues that made it hard for me to keep up on the blog. I had to stop quilting, which makes me a little sad. I loved quilting and gifting quilts. I found another hobby that I can do. Card making. It helps with my creativity. I am also painting. Both are low impact on my body, which helps. I will be posting the cards that I am making and some of my paintings. I am a beginner painter. Most of the paintings are a little rough around the edges, as people say. I will continue to share pictures of the balcony garden.

It has been seasonally warm here. My garden is coming along great. I even have extra tomato plants that I will be taking to my daughter next month. I have a succulent arrangement that I received as a gift from a friend's wedding three years ago.  I plan on repotting it into a nice, round bowl-shaped planter.
